About Rhea Fox
Hey, I’m Rhea, your friendly, unhinged neighbourhood writer of Monster Romance!
Where other kids wanted to become policemen or princesses, I only ever wanted to be an author.
It’s always been words for me.
So I read, and I wrote. Cringy horse stories at first, then YA, and fantasy. It was only until I discovered Monster Romance, that I finally felt I’d found my smutty little corner of authorhood.
It’s weird here in Monster Fucker City.
Tentacles reach for you as you pass an open door, the streets reek of Minotaur and Big Cats, you step over a puddle of an unidentifiable white substance that smells strangely of Christmas – I couldn’t love it more!
My first novel Mane of my Existence started out as a note in my iPhone in 2020. I’d just given birth and found myself trapped under my napping babe for hours at a time.
So I decided to tell Elora and Ben’s story. You can imagine how shocked I was when I finally copy-pasted what I’d written into my trusted writing tool from my non-fiction self-publishing days, to find I’d written well over 44,000 words.
That’s when I decided to give it a try. I would be using the 4 years before I turn 40 to turn my life around.
I had nothing to lose and everything to gain, so here we are, a couple of months later. Mane of my Existence is out now, and the feedback has been beautiful.
And as of today I have published three novels, two novellas, and a short story. I’m giving it my best shot and see if I can make my dream come true. Thank you for being part of my journey!
About me
I live on coffee and dopamine. I’m a child of the late 80s with a questionable taste in music, an even more questionable (but epic!) taste in books, and zero fucks left to give. As an ADHD woman who’s been undiagnosed since well into her thirties, I am only now starting to thrive. I decided not to fight my own monsters, but to write steamy books about them instead.
Together with my huscat, our two wild things, and a dog named Hamlet I live in a fixer upper right on the market square of a little village dating back to 1109 (fun fact: my house is on the Wikipedia page for our village).
We are digital homesteaders, grow our own food and strive for self-sufficiency while working as a solution architect (the huscat), running an online business, and writing about monster peens (me). It’s awesome!
